Demand Gen & Marketing Automation

12+ years developing marketing strategy and building digital marketing programs end to end, from campaign strategy and marketing automation to martech implementation and CRM migrations, across agency, freelance, and in-house roles.

About

My work covers the full arc of a marketing program: growth strategy and sales enablement, martech implementation and CRM migrations, campaign strategy, and marketing automation across platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), and Marketo. As Director of Demand Generation at a marketing agency, I built a demand generation practice from the ground up and scaled it into a team of 10+ specialists.

I've worked across industrial, technology, fintech, professional services, and healthcare clients. Copywriting, SEO, social media, budget planning, and team management all show up in how I run a program day to day, alongside the strategy and automation work. Usually it comes down to the same underlying problem in a different system each time: how do you connect what a business already knows about its customers to marketing that runs without someone manually pulling the trigger.

Driving Product Interest Through Account-Based Marketing

Biopharma pump manufacturing
+
I helped develop and launch an account-based marketing campaign for a manufacturer of pumps used in biopharma production, introducing an innovative pump control product to decision-makers across North America and Europe.

The Challenge

The client needed to build interest and drive attendance for an educational webinar introducing an innovative pharmaceutical pump control product, targeting key audiences across North America and Europe across multiple digital platforms.

What I Helped Build

  • Email marketing: Targeted contacts already connected to the product's brand, plus researched lists built around relevant job titles and industries.
  • Dual messaging: Parallel outreach to end users and distributors, encouraging distributors to invite their own networks.
  • Google Ads: Combined PPC and retargeting around strategic keywords.
  • Social media: Integrated organic and paid campaigns reaching existing followers and lookalike audiences.
  • Landing page: In-depth educational resources, clear CTAs, and webinar registration across two regional sessions.
  • Reporting: Biweekly BI dashboards with real-time KPI comparisons and actionable insights.

The Results

6,500+
Decision-makers & influencers reached
255

Reinventing the Trade Show Floor, Virtually

Industrial equipment manufacturing (retail fueling sector)
+
When COVID-19 shut down in-person trade shows overnight, I led development of two virtual event programs for an industrial equipment manufacturer client, generating over 1,000 leads combined, a 350% increase over the client's entire previous year, at roughly a fifth of the typical in-person cost.

The Challenge

The client's usual channel for reaching distributors and prospects, regional in-person trade shows and seminars, disappeared with no warning. They needed to keep generating leads and staying visible to their distributor network without an event floor, travel, or a traditional show budget.

What I Led

  • Program strategy: A two-program structure: a public gated Virtual Trade Show and a private Virtual Distributor Seminar series.
  • Content & promotion: Directed content development and ran the email and promotional campaign driving registration.
  • Live hosting: Hosted and moderated the live sessions.
  • Lean tech stack: A static HTML landing page, YouTube Live for hosting, OBS for seamless live/pre-recorded switching, and Infusionsoft plus Google Analytics for lead tracking. A web developer handled the technical build of the website.

The Results

573
Virtual Trade Show attendees
1,246
Distributor seminar signups, 7 sessions
350%
Increase in total leads vs. prior year
10–30%
Cost of a typical in-person event

Session recordings were repurposed into social content and a distributor training library. The public event unexpectedly reached state regulators, engineering firms, and university programs, audiences that wouldn't typically attend an in-person regional show.

Turning Operational Data Into an Automated Feedback Loop

Disaster restoration & equipment services / commercial vehicle wash equipment
+
I designed and built two custom, automated NPS survey programs for two different B2B clients, each triggered directly off the client's own operational system rather than a generic marketing schedule: one firing the moment a job is marked complete, the other off a ship date pulled straight from an ERP.

The Challenge

Neither client had a way to systematically collect customer feedback tied to the actual lifecycle of their product or service. Feedback was manual, inconsistent, and disconnected from the moment that mattered most.

What I Built

  • Job-based trigger: An automation in Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) Engagement Studio that fires an NPS survey per completed job, with no manual scheduling.
  • ERP-based trigger: A distinct solution for the vehicle wash equipment client: an annual survey pulling ship date directly from their ERP, tied to each customer's own purchase timeline.
  • Ongoing optimization: When leadership raised concerns the program was underperforming, I built a data-backed status report benchmarking it against the client's previous platform and current B2B email standards, and identified concrete next steps to strengthen it.

The Results

$75K/yr
Software cost savings, moving off a dedicated NPS platform onto Salesforce, which the client already owned
Same-day
Turnaround, replacing a twice-monthly manual push (up to a 15-day wait)

Two proof points that the same underlying skill, turning a client's own operational data into a reliable, automated feedback loop, adapts across completely different systems and industries, rather than being a one-off solution.
